HOST BIO:

THESY SURFACE, screenwriter/actress

A mix of many countries, Thesy hails (mostly) from London, England, and graduated from Brown University in the degree that make ALL parents proud – Theater Arts. She moved out to L.A. and… waited tables. (And did about 12 other jobs from which she garnered stories… and dates!!) Thesy did theater stints, improv and a couple of TV co-stars on forgotten studio pilots, before landing the role of a lifetime: the unibrowed, deaf-mute, hairy bombshell…Margaret McPoyle on It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia. A writing class inspired her to pursue the scribing path, and her first full-length feature Bowl Breakers was lucky enough to get into a few screenplay competition finals, including Final Draft Big Break and Script Pipeline. She is also a regular blogger on www.thesysurface.com. Script-wise, Thesy is currently working on an action-comedy and an erotic thriller… ’cause, for some reason, writing about sex and violence comes naturally to her.

Thesy is very happy Script Chix invited her to moderate this fantastic manager panel, not just to interview the great managers, but also because it gets her out of her cliche coffee shop routine – though she can’t deny the alcohol after the show wasn’t a major deciding factor.
